Class Update
* Our word of the month is perseverance. Please discuss a time in your life when you have had to persevere and what you learned through this process. We will be doing a buddy activity along with Stone Soup.
* Friday, May 16th, Peter Moyer will be coming in to teach the class about computers. He is a Computer Programmer.
* Our class earned party will be this coming Friday, May 16th. It will be SPORTS DAY. Students will dress up in their favorite sports outfit, play hockey, softball and football together. We will have pizza, chocolate and watch Invincible, a Disney movie. It is rated PG so please let me know if you would not like to have your child watch the movie.
* Science Projects are due next Monday, May 19th
* Island of the Blue Project Due Monday, June 2nd. (Weapon/Chapter/or Poster)
* Open House will be on Thursday, May 22nd. Parents will get to see their child's work showcased, including the Science Project Posters. There will be a play performance of A Series of Unfortunate Events, Students will also share their Friend Poems/Songs on the class projector
* Upcoming field trips: Monday, May 19th to New Brighton for a local history/beach trip
* Monday, June 2nd to Pizza 1 in Aptos. Students will learn from Dana Smith, Daryn's dad, about how to run a local business. In addition, they will be able to make their own pizza!
* Wednesday, June 4th will be our end-of-the-year party at KOA. We will need drivers on each of these trips to please sign and return the forms.
* Michelle Moyer will be doing a hip-hop dance class with our class. Time: TBA
See you at school... Only 19 days left!
