FIELD TRIP MONDAY BRING WARM CLOTHES AND LUNCH

Dear Parents,

* This is the last week of the 2nd trimester. This means that Friday is the last day to take a reading quiz in Accelerated Reader Extra-credit assignments will be due on Friday, as well. Report cards will go home on Friday, March 14th.

* We will be having a Writing Assessment on Tuesday this week so please make sure your child is in attendance. This test will be included in their testing scores.

* Our class will be starting our third math curriculum this week. We will be focusing on fractions (adding, subtracting, reducing, different denominators). This is difficult to grasp at first so please help them at home with their homework. Have them write the multiples of each number until they find the lowest common denominator. THANKS!

* I will be attending a C.U.E. Technology Conference Wed - Saturday and will be back on Monday.

* On Monday, March 10th we will be going on a field trip to Ano Nuevo. Here are the parents that are driving:

Diane Hildebrand and Lorna Jordan will be our substitutes and they are welcome to chaperone. I will send an e-mail to remind you while I am at my conference.
