WEEK 23





SOCIAL STUDIES TEST ON TUESDAY, February 12th! Study guides and books went home. Students were reminded, so if they chose not to bring them....good luck!

We will be starting a new book about the Gold Rush entitled By the Great Horn Spoon. We will be learning about how California became a state, Manifest Destiny and the Donner Party this week in Social Studies.

I sent students home with the watercolor art they did with Mrs. Moyer. They can enter their art in a contest at Long Marine Lab. The paper is attached to their art.

On Tuesday I will send home our second round of permission slip for the UCSC Life Lab for Friday, February 22nd.
