Seven Cats Seven Sacks

As I was going to a Halloween Party
I met a man with seven wives
Every wife had seven sacks
Every sack had seven cats
Every cat had seven kits
We traded bits
Each cat, sack, wife, and he
Took a kit. The rest for me.
So now I have a kit supply.
How many kits did I just buy?

Class Update

Our class had a wonderful learning experience on our field trip to the Register Pajaronian Newspaper last week. Thank you to all of the parents who were able to drive on such a short trip. We learned about all that goes into producing a newspaper: from the reporters, writers, editors, photographers and the printers, to the assembly line of people who put it all together. Above are some pictures of our experience together.

This week we will be celebrating that crazy holiday, Halloween, on Wednesday. Our class will have a party at 10:40 a.m., followed by a short lunch. The party will continue for another half-hour and conclude at 12:00 p.m. If you have any questions about the party, please contact our room parent, Tara O'Boy. All parents are welcome to come to the party and celebrate with our class.
